Key points for the first using HL-A20L AWG
1- Keep HL-A20L stand vertically for 24 hours to ensure that the machine oil returns to the compressor after international shipment.
2- The machine needs to be placed in a ventilated room, such as in the kitchen, where the windows need to be opened.
If the customer wants to open an air conditioner or other heating system to warm his house, separating the warm rooms and HL-A20L’s room or space is better.
3- When the water level reaches 1/2 on the touch screen, the customer can get water by pressing the water outlet.
Based on the current temperature and humidity conditions in the spring season, it will probably take around 2 days to produce enough water to reach that level.
4- It is better to let the water generated from HL-A20L flush and wash the internal filters 1-2 times which could take 5-6 days, and drain all the water when the water level reaches 3/4. After that, customers can drink it or test it. Because there could be some dust on the filters during the filter-packing process.
5- The customer can press the heating button on the top of the behind side when the produced water is enough to come out by pressing the water dispenser. Hot water needs to press the hot water dispenser and the red safe lock at the same time.
6- Generally, we would suggest to keep the HL-A20L running all the time. The HL-A20L has an internal water circulation process every 6 hours, which can keep the water always purified.
7- If HL-A20L is switched off for more than two days, suggest to drain the water from all tanks and filters and then flush before using it again. Especially in the hot weather, the water inside the machine without the circulation process, the bacteria and microorganisms will easily grow inside of the machine.
Process of flushing the internal water tank and pipes.
1) Power on the machine.
2) Add tap water into the lower water tank until the screen shows the water level is Full.
3) Drain the water through the drainage port at the back of the machine.
4) Repeat the process 3 times.
5) During the fourth operation, get water from the hot and cold water faucets, throw away the first water directly, and check if there is any mucus or bad smell in the second water.
If not, it means the problem has been resolved.
If there is still any, it may indicate that the current filters have gone bad and need to be replaced.
8 – If HL-A20L is switched off for longer than one week, suggest replacing the water filters, and the machine should be disinfected and flushed. Same reason as point 7.
8.1 – Clean with food-grade citric acid.
1) Shut down the AWG.
2) Remove filters.
3) Suggest using food-grade citric acid liquid and mix it with water according to the instructions of the citric acid product. If internal pollution is critical, it is recommended to have a higher concentration of citric acid liquid. Approximately 13-15L of the total liquid needs to be prepared in advance.
4) Wear rubber gloves, use a soft-bristled brush and cleaning cloth dipped in citric acid liquid, and clean the upper and lower water tank, especially for obvious stains.
5) Slowly add the citric acid liquid into the upper water tank until the water in the upper water tank is full, which also means that the cold and hot water tanks are also full.
6) Keep it for 30 minutes.
7) Drain the citric acid liquid through the drainage port at the back of the machine.
8.2 – Clean with tap water after steps of using food-grade citric acid liquid.
1) Restore all components of the machine, cover the upper water tank, and install filters into the machine.
2) Power on the machine.
3) Add tap water into the lower water tank until the screen shows the water level is Full.
4) Drain the water through the drainage port at the back of the machine.
5) Repeat the process 3 times.
6) During the fourth operation, get water from the hot and cold water faucets, throw away the first water directly, and check if there is any mucus or bad smell in the second water. If not, it means the problem has been resolved. If there is still any, it may indicate that the current filters have gone bad and need to be replaced
